When pan searing meats I like to use a cast iron skillet. Not only does it add a lot of flavor but it’s a clean toxin free way to cook. As always keep your kitchen exhaust going to eliminate fumes and built up condensation.
Pan Seared Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 1 pork chop
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp kerrygold unsalted butter
- salt
- pepper
- onion powder
Instructions
- Pat pork chop dry with paper towel
- Heat pan to medium high heat
- Add olive oil and butter
- Sear one side without moving until it's golden brown for about 3-5 minutes
- Flip and sear other side until it too is golden brown
- Remove from pan and let rest before serving
