Balsamic Vinaigrette

This is a go to homemade salad dressing. It’s simple & versatile. You can make fresh or increase ingredients to make a refrigerated container of dressing that can be used for up to a week.

Balsamic Vinaigrette


  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 shallot
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder


  • Finely chop shallot
  • Finely chop garlic
  • Add all ingredients to bowl and whisk together
  • This can be used right away or you can make a large batch to use over the week and store in a refrigerated container
